Fees

Typical Fees – from 1/09/2023

Each year we review our fees and need to increase to enable our clinic to provide good quality health care to our patients and to keep up with the costs of providing such care.
Fees are recommended, however each General Practitioner will charge the consultation fee that suits the consultation – there are many consultation item numbers applicable to your consultation with your GP and the complexity and or planning involved. The below are only a sample of a few, general consultations.

Payment is at time of consultation. Medicare rebate can be organised by us on the day of service once payment in full is received.

The above fees apply when payment is made on the day. This includes a $10 discount for payment on the day.

Saturday consultations with our doctors will not be bulk billed. All  Saturdays appointments will be billed at our normal rate.

Cash, Eftpos or Credit card is welcome for payment.

Non-Attendance Fees

We require you to confirm your appointment. You will receive a text message to confirm 48 hours before your scheduled appointment. We would appreciate your reply text to confirm or cancel as soon as you can. We understand other urgent issues may arise and you need to cancel your appointment. Please call reception on 9435 1144 to cancel as soon as you know you cannot make it, even if this is up to 1 hour before the scheduled time. We always need emergency/urgent bookings and are grateful for you letting us know to utilise this appointment.
You will be charged a fee if you have confirmed and then fail to attend an appointment.

DNA (confirmed & did not attend) – standard appointment – $75.00
DNA (confirmed & did not attend) – long appointment – $135.00

Medicare Rebate

We use TYRO EFTPOS machines that link directly to Medicare. We can process your rebate directly after payment on the day of your service to a debit card via the terminal machine. Rebates are processed instantly this way. If you do not have a debit card and have registered your details with Medicare, please let us know at the time of service and we can ensure the Medicare rebate is refunded into your bank account via lodgement to Medicare from our computer. Rebates processed this way normally take 24-48 hours to return to your bank account. We can only access Medicare rebates on the day of service when payment in full is received. Medicare do not allow rebate to a credit card.

There is a potential for out of pocket expenses. You will be informed by your doctor of these.

Your doctor may refer you to see a specialist. Please contact them to determine your out of pocket expenses.
